About
Jillian is an artist from Southern California. After receiving her Bachelors in Fine Art from the University of Hawai'i in Manoa, she continued onto the UK for her Masters at Cambridge University in Children's Book Illustration. A program where her love of storytelling through images grew.
Whether she was dipping her hands into different mediums like glass blowing or studies like eastern and western art history, her heart always drew toward expansive, natural scenes.
Today, her dreamy, atmospheric landscapes, for which she is rapidly growing a reputation, remind people of a connection, calmness, and a pure love that exists in the wild and the healing that comes with it.
ARTIST STATEMENT:
During chaotic times, I create art that focuses on healing as an act of love and meditation. I highlight natural features and, at times, the human actions within them that enrich the human psyche.
